What Went Wrong After A Man Accidentally Swallowed A Toothpick?
A 67-year-old Japanese man is recovering after a short health scare when he accidentally swallowed a toothpick and it got stuck in his butt.
After swallowing the toothpick the man’s body started to process it and it almost made it all the way through until it ended up getting lodged in his rectum. While being stuck in his rectum, it was wedged against a nerve cluster, which caused him months of back and leg pain. Doctors had to perform surgery to remove the toothpick.
