A Ponzi Scheme Suspect Tries to Escape Using a Handheld Underwater “Seascooter”
The FBI went to arrest a guy in California on Monday for running a $35 million Ponzi scheme. And he tried to escape by jumping in a lake and using a “seascooter” to move around underwater.
It didn’t work, and he got out of the lake after 25 minutes. He’s facing up to 20 years in prison.
