Co-owner Andy Howl of Howl Gallery was notified just after midnight on Friday that his place of business was being broken into.
He said, “I knew something was wrong when they said multiple scanners, Like no, that’s not right, no one should be there. Call the police right away.”
The burglar broke a window and a door to get in. Once inside, the suspect went straight for the cash register.
Andy Howl believes that the suspect was a woman who was not familiar with Howl Gallery.
He said, “She basically didn’t look like she knew the place at all, she was using her phone as a flashlight and kind of like frantically running around.”
