Putting your holiday decorations up early could make you happier, according to Delish.

and I couldn’t agree more.

It’s 2020 and nothing has been normal since the beginning of the year. So, why wait to put up the Christmas decorations?

I know you will be quick to judge but according to experts, it truly makes you happier.

“Although there could be a number of symptomatic reasons why someone would want to obsessively put up decorations early, most commonly for nostalgic reasons either to relive the magic or to compensate for past neglect,” Steve McKeown, Psychoanalyst, founder of MindFixers and owner of The McKeown Clinic, told UNILAD.

“Decorations are simply an anchor or pathway to those old childhood magical emotions of excitement. So putting up those Christmas decorations early extend the excitement!” McKeown said.
