Seether Announces ‘Locked & Live’ Livestream Concert
Seether has announced an upcoming concert livestream event coinciding with the release of their new studio album, Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum.
The band took to Facebook and wrote, “WHO IS READY FOR SEETHER LIVE? Everyone is hurting from the pause of live music, so we’re here to bring you guys an EXCLUSIVE livestream concert experience. Our Locked & Live: Album Release Livestream Concert is happening on August 30th, 3PM ET to celebrate the release of our 8th studio album ‘Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum.’ Experience a full band, full production Seether concert from your living room!”
Seether frontman Shaun Morgan alluded to the band doing a larger-scale concert stream when he spoke with WMMR’s Sara back in July. When talking about Post Malone’s Nirvana tribute livestream, he said, “…What was cool about that setup was it came across as one stream, but they switched cameras. I thought that was great. That was the positive I got out of that. That’s what we’re looking to do in the future, but with a higher production value.”
Advance “tickets” for the livestream cost $20. Seether is giving fans the opportunity to also donate some money to Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE) and their Crew Fund helping current out-of-work road crew members.
