U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson is going to visit the low-income area of the Renaissance Preserve off of Romeo lane in Fort Myers.

Renaissance Preserve houses around 400 families and is a saving grace for people struggling through the pandemic because of how affordable it is.

Marcus LeBron said that life hasn't been easy since leaving prison. Searching for housing and employment proves extremely difficult for felons.

He said, “It helps a lot because you don’t have to worry about paying so much on bills; you can save your money for times like this, like what we’re going through now and we’re able to get by without having to worry about getting evicted.”
