A Woman Climbed Into a Gator Pit with Her Son to Get Her Wallet Back!
A woman and her young son climbed into a pit packed with alligators at the Safari North Wildlife Park in Brainerd, Minnesota last weekend. And they did it just to retrieve her wet wallet from a pond. There’s a video online of the woman and her son walking around inside the enclosure, with the alligators aware of their presence. The woman is able to distract the alligators long enough to reach into the pond where they’re swimming to grab the wallet, and then they both just climb back out.
It’s unclear what happened before the video starts . . . but it sounds like the wallet fell into the pit, and the boy climbed in to try to get it back. At the end of the clip, the woman chastises her son for disobeying her and going in. But in the video, she seemed more concerned with getting the wallet than her son.
