Mike Shinoda Announces Presidential Bid…Sort Of

Move over Kanye West! There's a new candidate for President of the United States, and that's Mike Shinoda!

Okay...not really, but Shinoda took the opportunity to say on Twitter, "I, too, am running for President*" He then clarified the asterisk meant, "Have new music out."

Shinoda's new music, Dropped Frames Vol. 1, comes out July 10 and is available for pre-order/pre-save here.

Shinoda would then playfully say on Twitch yesterday (July 6), "I don’t know who my running mate is; I don’t really have a platform. Can I run as a Republican? I like that. I’m gonna run as a Republican … If you’re a Republican in this chat, I want you to write me in on your ballot. Just write me in."
