  • After staying indoors for months, a Florida woman says she and 15 friends decided to reward themselves by going out for a few drinks at one of the state’s newly reopened bars. And now all 16 have tested positive for COVID-19.
  • “The first night we go out — Murphy’s Law, I guess,” says 40-year-old Erika Crisp, a Mayo Clinic healthcare worker. “The only thing we have in common is that one night at that one bar.” That “one bar” was Lynch’s Irish Pub in Jacksonville Beach, which the group visited on June 6th — one day after Florida allowed bars and nightclubs to reopen.
