There’s a Bizarre Dance Trend Where Everyone Is…Chopping Wood to the Same Song?
There’s a bizarre new dance trend on TikTok, and it’s social distancing-friendly. Basically, you start by chopping a piece of wood . . . on the beat . . . then you have one version of yourself calling another version of yourself “dumb,” and then you shake your hips.
It’s surreal . . . and even after watching several videos it’s hard to “understand” it. The trend was started by comedian Casey Frey in May of last year, and it’s really starting to pick up momentum. Casey also starred in the video for the song, which is “GOMF” by a group called DVBBS.
Here’s Casey’s first dance video.
