Oregon Police ask public to stop calling 911 when out of toilet paper
A police department in Oregon is having issues with citizens calling 911 to report an emergency…that they are out of toilet paper!
Newport Oregon Police Department made a post on social media asking citizens to stop calling 911 to seek help with running out of toilet paper. Since the COVID-19 virus made ground on the US people have been flocking to grocery stores and began hoarding toilet paper causing many to go without.
The police department understands that being out of TP sucks, but at the same time it’s not an emergency that requires their help. In fact they posted on the department’s Facebook page asking citizens to stop calling 911 about their TP woes, in fact they even offered a few alternative to get that tooshie clean without TP.
