Slipknot's Corey Taylor and Shawn "Clown" Crahan are seeking to have a lawsuit filed against the band by former drummer Chris Fehn thrown out of court.

Fehn's lawsuit claims he is owed various earnings from touring and merchandise sales and that there are separate companies affiliated with the band that is collecting money but not dolling out any profits.

In documents obtained by The Blast, Taylor and Crahan's representation are requesting the lawsuit by thrown out of court, because it was filed in the State of New York, and the band has no business ties to the state.

Their response reads, "Other than infrequent performances in New York when the band has been on national and international tours, Crahan and Taylor simply have no presence in New York."

At the time of publishing, neither Fehn or any other rep for him has commented on this story.
