James Hetfield Called the Woman Who Blasted Metallica to Scare Away a Cougar
Last month, there was a report about a Canadian woman blasting Metallica to scare away a cougar. And now, singer James Hetfield has called her, so she got to thank him personally for his cougar-scaring music.
She said, quote, “I was a little bit lost for words . . . the fact that he’s so down to Earth and such a great person, I’m very pleased to find that out first-hand.”
She said they talked about their homes, pets, and of course the cougar ordeal. Afterwards, he sent her a ‘metal-horns’ selfie as “confirmation” that it was really him.
