San Diego resident Isabella McNeil says she was baffled when she recently received an email from Amazon, notifying her that her new couch had been shipped. "I thought, 'Did I buy a couch in my sleep?'," she says. Then she recalled letting her 2-year-old daughter Rayna play with her phone a few days earlier and figured out what had happened. Unfortunately, it was too late to stop the $400 piece of furniture from arriving.
"Lesson learned," says McNeil, who's now attempting to sell the couch on OfferUp. "Now I know it's really dangerous and I need to make sure the Amazon app is closed before my daughter takes the phone. It's just so easy."
