A Guy Doesn’t Look Both Ways at a Railway Crossing and Is Almost Killed
BERLIN, GERMANY - AUGUST 13: A symbol with a human figure on it marks the end of a train platform at Hauptbahnhof main railway station on August 13, 2013 in Berlin, Germany. A lack of personel due to sick leave and vacations has forced German state rail carrier Deutsche Bahn to severely restrict rail service at the main station in the city of Mainz, and the issue has snowballed into a political bonfire. Critics charge cuts in pursuit of privatizing Deutsche Bahn have led to a lack of investment in new trainees and that service will likely be threatened at other stations across Germany as well. Germany faces elections in September and both parties are using the issue for lambasting one another. (Photo by Sean Gallup/Getty Images)
Here’s another frightening train video that could’ve ended badly. A security cam from the Netherlands shows a cyclist waiting as a train goes by, and then he starts crossing but doesn’t see a different train coming from the other way.
When he finally realizes what’s happening he uses his foot to scoot faster . . . and still comes within a split second of getting hit by the train.
