Cover me tender? That was the case at the 70th birthday party of Maureen Plant, ex-wife of Robert Plant. (Who says exes can’t get along?)
The party took place at The Fox Inn in Stourton, England and saw Robert perform with local band The Hayriders on three Elvis Presley covers: “One Night With You,” “Little Sister” and “A Big Hunk O’ Love.” (Spoiler: He sounds absolutely incredible.)
The Hayriders’ lead singer says something that’s a bit difficult to understand as Robert leaves the stage, but it sounds like, “That part of the f*cking set list will be difficult to top.” Frankly, he’s not wrong.
