A Guy Steals $50,000 to Get New Teeth and an Expensive Puppy
PEMBROKE PINES, FL - JANUARY 12: Drawers full of fake teeth are displayed in the denture lab at the Affordable Dentures lab on January 12, 2009 in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Statistics show that the number of people loosing all their teeth has declined 60 percent in the United States since 1960. The reduction is attributed to the program of fluoridation begun in the 1940s as well as education on proactive dental hygiene. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images)
There’s a 52-year-old guy named Timothy Powell in Plantation, Florida . . . and he recently stole the identity of an 80-year-old man with dementia by buying his info off the dark web.
And Timothy took about $50,000 out of the guy’s bank account to buy two things: Dental surgery to replace his jacked up teeth . . . and a $10,000 French bulldog puppy.
Anyway, the 80-year-old man’s caretakers noticed the money was missing, and the cops tracked down Timothy. He was arrested on several charges.
