SAN BERNARDINO, CA - OCTOBER 06: Josh Kiszka of the band 'Greta Van Fleet' performs on stage during Cal Jam 18 at Glen Helen Regional Park on October 06, 2018 in San Bernadino, California; FRANKLIN, TN - SEPTEMBER 24: Luke Spiller of The Struts performs onstage at the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival - Day 1 on September 24, 2016 in Franklin, Tennessee.
The past two weeks saw the release of new albums from two prominent throwback bands: Greta Van Fleet and The Struts.
Greta Van Fleet’s Anthem of the Peaceful Army was released last week and was the band’s highly-anticipated debut LP after receiving a lot of buzz from their two previous EPs. The Struts, meanwhile, dropped their second studio album, Young & Dangerous, today.
With Greta Van Fleet’s Led Zeppelin-influenced hard rock style and The Struts’ glam rock flare, we pose the following question: Which throwback band do you prefer?
