Just in time for Halloween, the Smashing Pumpkins have a new music video for “Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)” off their upcoming album Shiny And Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun.
Frontman Billy Corgan steps into the director’s chair on this one, which features Sugar Ray singer Mark McGrath challenging the band to spend the night in a haunted house.
The video takes a fun Scooby-Doo-like angle, showing Corgan dressed in a bunny suit, while being chased by ghosts, moving paintings and a ventriloquist dummy.
The Pumpkins’ latest album, the first new music from the reunited lineup in 18 years, will be released on November 16th.
