Son Of Hall Of Fame Former Dolphins Quarterback Dan Marino Arrested On DUI Charges
Michael Marino, 30-year-old son of Dan Marino, was arrested over the weekend for driving under the influence about a half-mile away from his Ft. Lauderdale home.
According to a police report given to the Miami Herald, drivers had to stop suddenly in order to avoid a collision with Marino when he drove through a stop sign in his 2016 Ford Suv. The Ft. Lauderdale Police Officer wrote, “immediately noticed Marino had bloodshot, glassy eyes and an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his person and the interior of the vehicle.”
After failing multiple field sobriety tests, and even refusing to blow into a breathalyzer initially, Michael Marino was brought to Broward County Sheriff’s Office where he was found to have a blood alcohol content of .210, almost 3 times the legal limit. He was released on $1500 bond the same night.
