Former FGCU assistant basketball coach Jamill Jones, was arrested in NYC for punching a man who eventually died.  Jones, 35, now an assistant to Danny Manning at Wake Forest, allegedly punched the Florida resident Sabor Szabo in the head early Sunday morning following a confrontation.  Szabo, also 35, fell and hit his head on the pavement, knocking him unconscious.  He died at the hospital two days later.

Sources say, Szabo, who was attending his stepsister’s wedding, was intoxicated outside of a New York hotel and began banging on car doors, looking for his Uber driver.  Jones allegedly struck Szabo after he banged on Jones’ car.  Police are waiting on a report from the medical examiner to determine if the punch led to Szabo’s death.
