There has been increasing popularity from the song, which you can't exactly pinpoint other than to blame Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell for their viral African Adventure video. Then, after an outcry from fans, Weezer put out a cover of Toto's "Africa," which has honestly been one of the biggest "hits" from Weezer in a while.
Not to leave out the Metal Heads, Matt Heafy of Trivium decided to take his turn at it, and of course, after singing a few bars, he screams a few too.
Heafy has been doing covers like this since last year, but it's always cool to hear another type of version that's very different than the other.
