Remember that time when one thousand people got together in Cesena, Italy and performed Foo Fighters’ “Learn To Fly”?  The organizers behind that viral hit are at it again, and this time, they’re taking on The White Stripes.

Rockin’ 1000 will be descending on Detroit’s Belle Isle Park on July 3rd for a mass jam of “Seven Nation Army.”  Singers, guitarists, bassists and drummers are wanted for the event that will “be filmed and transmitted on a TV show on a major US television network.  The organizers don’t disclose which show it will be but say it’s “a huge popular award-winning television show.”

In order to take part, all musicians need to apply here.  There are certain conditions/rules for the event, like dress code, time commitments and practicing the song before the day of filming, so before you apply, KNOW WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO.

However, even with a long day of shooting, this still sounds like it’s going to be an incredible event, and we can’t wait to see the final product.
