Whoa…‘Bill & Ted’ Sequel Confirmed

Finally, the Wyld Stallyns are coming to save us all!

After tons of speculation of a third installment, Deadline is reporting that a new Bill & Ted movie is officially in the works.

Dubbed Bill & Ted Face The Music, the film finds Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) as middle-aged dads who have yet to create the music that will make Wyld Stallyns the greatest band ever/makers of world peace.  Apparently, strange things are afoot in the present-day, which leads to a visit from someone from the future telling the two dads they better get to steppin’ on the music or else the world is screwed.  This, of course, leads to new time-traveling fun, but this time, Bill and Ted’s daughters are coming along.

Seems like everyone is pretty excited about the third movie.  Just look what Winter tweeted.

No word yet as to when this film will be released since it’s only in pre-production, but if people don’t attend screenings dressed as their favorite historical figures, it’ll be totally bogus.
