Stephen Hawking has died at the age of 76.

His death has been confirmed by his family.

Hawking will always be remembered as one of the best scientists to ever walk this earth.

According to WISN, he is considered the best theoretical physicist among his colleagues and the public alike.

Hawking was in a wheelchair since the age of 21 due to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis a condition that is usually fatal.

He defied the odds, and lived with the disease for half a century.

Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
