About That Smashing Pumpkins Reunion…
Fans pumped about a Smashing Pumpkins reunion better brace themselves for it to be sans D’Arcy Wretzky.
In a statement to Blast Echo, the bassist said, “My apologies to all of the Smashing Pumpkins fans out there who are excited about this oncoming reunion tour of the original members of the band. Former Judas Priest Drummer Dave Holland Dead at 69
Finally, Dave Holland, who played drums for Judas Priest from 1979-1989, died suddenly in a hospital in Lugo, Spain at the age of 69.
Holland’s last years were mired in controversy when he was found guilty of attempted rape and indecent assault against a special-needs 17-year-old boy in 2004.
Judas Priest released the following statement on Holland’s death:
"It is with regret that we hear of the passing of Dave Holland. Despite his actions since working with the band, his time with us was amongst the most productive and successful in the band's career and for that alone he shall be missed."
