Zombie Performance of White Zombie Album Slated For Release

Rob Zombie won't be keeping his performance of a White Zombie classic to himself anymore.

The shock rocker will be releasing his performance of the group's 1995 album Astro-Creep: 2000 (Songs of Love, Destruction and Other Synthetic Delusions of the Electric Head) at last September's Riot Fest in Chicago sometime this year, though an exact date hasn't been announced.

Zombie has posted a preview of the set on his official Instagram account, and his longtime co-producer Chris "Zeuss" Harris is currently mixing it for release.

Astro-Creep was the final of White Zombie's four studio albums and was certified double-platinum after reaching No. 6 on the Billboard 200, launching the hit "More Human Than Human."

Zombie will be playing a select number of dates this summer, mostly festivals, starting June 9 in Glasgow, Scotland.
