Who knows if it's a sign of reconciliation or not, but here's another nice moment in the frosty relationship between the original members of Van Halen.
Frontman David Lee Roth has been confirmed as the top donor ($10,000) for bassist Michael Anthony's Rex and the Heart Beaters, a team that will take part in next month's Walk L.A. fundraiser for the city's Children's Hospital.
Roth and his crew will be honoring Rex Becerra, the bassist's infant grandson who passed away shortly after being born last month due to a heart defect. Anthony last toured with Van Halen during a 2004 reunion tour with frontman Sammy Hagar; guitarist Eddie Van Halen's son Wolfgang has been playing bass since 2007, including reunion tours and studio and live albums with Roth.
Anthony currently works with Hagar in the bands Chickenfoot and The Circle, the latter of which will be on the road this summer.
