After its first unveiling at Germany’s Wacken Open Air Festival in August 2016, the Ronnie James Dio hologram will finally been seen stateside for the first time.

Per Blabbermouth, the Dio hologram will be at the concert industry Pollstar Awards, which are taking place on February 2 at The Novo in Los Angeles.  The Dio hologram will be part of the performance by Dio Disciples, which is made up of former Dio band members.

The hologram experience itself is rather unique, with Dio Disciples guitarist Craig Goldy telling Rolling Stone that, “It was very surreal.  I could see him – he was moving and singing – but I couldn’t touch him.  It was surreal almost to have him here again.”

We doubt this will be the last time we’ll ever see the Dio hologram, but we sure hope we don’t have to wait too long to see it again.
